On Nut Night Market

It's very good day to go shopping with my girlfriend because today we
get our salary, even it is only a little money, but shopping is more
important.

Let's talk about On Nut background first. It is located in outer of
Bangkok but BTS still reach there. It is the last station of Sukhumvit
line, 2 station from Thong Lor. There is so many expats in Bangkok
live here as it is convenient and housing is a bit cheap when compare
to others area. Furthermore, there is also Lotus and Carfeur too, so
very convenient for both single ans a family as there ia a few good
international school.

Ok, it's time for shopping now!!! This market situated just opposite
Lotus On Nut and only a few steps from BTS On Nut station, you will
see easily from Google Map.

In front of the market there is a few restaurant and of course beer
garden too. You can let your girlfriend go shopping while you are
drinking some beer.

BTS Mass Transportation

As you know. Bangkok is the worse traffic city in the world. You could
take 20 minutes for only a km on the bus.

However, we still have good major transportation
like BTS and MRT. Moreover, moto taxi ia also know as the fastest in
Bangkok as well.

Let's befin with BTS. It has been operate since ... Well know as "Sky
Train" the cost starts ffom 15 bath until 40 baht per way. If you
travel a lot there is a package about 20 baht per way. I use this
package as i go to work by BTS: by bus spend about 80 minutes while
BTS spend only 50 minutes. Plsase visit here for more information.

If you come to Bangkok for work and your office is in Silom, Sathorn
or Sukhumvit, I suggest you to find apartment near BTS line. It will
cost about 15,000-35,000 thb per month for a studio. This help a lot
for your living.

Next time I will talk about MRT another major transportation for
living in Bangkok.

Klong Thom, Night Market

Klong Thom Market, also known as “Market Flashlight” due to operating hours that run well past 8pm, is one of Bangkok’s largest and most well-known open-air shopping areas. Contrary to typical market set-up, the vendors organise themselves along the side streets of main roads (see map) and sell nearly everything under the sun (or moon in this case).

Expats should come prepared to negotiate; with the right technique it’s possible to come away with some fantastic bargains for antiques and second items like old gadgets, electronics, automotive parts and office equipment.

Do be aware of robber’s and pickpockets, and bring a calculator to allow merchants to show you costs as most don’t speak English.
Good luck, and I hope you find some incredible deals!

My proposal for this blog is to share almost everything about Bangkok. You will find leisure ordinary and extra ordinary life in Bangkok along with Hot NEWS too.

Bangkok, the Land of Smile. Why people said this? It is the nature of Thai, we are always smile even in the worse case. There is a idiom said "Easy angry, easy forgive". It is our secret to make situation getting better. Smile is very important for living in Bangkok. Smile is our Life.

Many years ago, I went to a market looking for a nice shoes. I found one that I really like it, however, the price is over my budget T T

The weather is very hot and I walk more than a hour (that was not my habit, I am lazy to walk) A lot of people in a tight market like Jatujak Sunday Market. Honestly, I don't like this market as it is very HOT. You can find good deal when you smile here.
