As you know. Bangkok is the worse traffic city in the world. You could
take 20 minutes for only a km on the bus.
However, we still have good major transportation
like BTS and MRT. Moreover, moto taxi ia also know as the fastest in
Bangkok as well.
Let's befin with BTS. It has been operate since ... Well know as "Sky
Train" the cost starts ffom 15 bath until 40 baht per way. If you
travel a lot there is a package about 20 baht per way. I use this
package as i go to work by BTS: by bus spend about 80 minutes while
BTS spend only 50 minutes. Plsase visit here for more information.
If you come to Bangkok for work and your office is in Silom, Sathorn
or Sukhumvit, I suggest you to find apartment near BTS line. It will
cost about 15,000-35,000 thb per month for a studio. This help a lot
for your living.
Next time I will talk about MRT another major transportation for
living in Bangkok.

Klong Thom, Night Market
Klong Thom Market, also known as “Market Flashlight” due to operating hours that run well past 8pm, is one of Bangkok’s largest and most well-known open-air shopping areas. Contrary to typical market set-up, the vendors organise themselves along the side streets of main roads (see map) and sell nearly everything under the sun (or moon in this case).
Expats should come prepared to negotiate; with the right technique it’s possible to come away with some fantastic bargains for antiques and second items like old gadgets, electronics, automotive parts and office equipment.
Do be aware of robber’s and pickpockets, and bring a calculator to allow merchants to show you costs as most don’t speak English.
Good luck, and I hope you find some incredible deals!
